My passion started when I enrolled into a TV broadcasting class at 12…but it wasn’t until High School that I took filmmaking seriously enough to go into thousands and thousands (and thousands) of debt.
After earning my BA in Film Production at Cal State Fullerton in three years, I decided to pursue an MFA in Film Editing at Chapman University. It was during this time that I grew as an editor cutting multiple short films and sound designing a few. My long term goal is to edit, write, or direct a major motion picture.
As the Senior Editor at NextVR, I get to cut industry leading live-action Virtual Reality stories covering world renown brands such as NBA, Mastercard, NBCUniversal, and many more.
Having been immersed in the field of Virtual Reality for nearly four years, it’s not surprising to see the world of cinema and television production beginning to be impacted by this new technology. Even documentaries are affected as I recently cut the VR documentary “Homeless: A Los Angeles Story,” which was featured this 57th New York Film Festival.
Passions: Movies and television (duh), video games, writing, reading, and currently learning how to play the piano.
